2024 Trans Am Bike Nonstop Draft Roster NOW LIVE
Greetings fellow endurance cycling enthusiast,
We're writing to let you know that the first draft of the roster for the 2024 Trans Am Bike Nonstop is now live. So far 42 Riders from 13 countries have signed up to participate in the 10th year edition of Ride Yr Bike events. Roster and inquiry are available here.
New for 2024, the Trans Am Bike Nonstop is a hybridized version of the Trans Am Bike Race and Bike Nonstop US. Featured in the film Inspired to Ride, the Trans America Trail is the oldest touring route in the United States. Tangentially, in 2018 the Bike Nonstop US was created to offer a safer way for cyclists to travel across the US using as much bike infrastructure as possible.
The two events have now merged becoming Trans Am Bike Nonstop, featuring a shared mass start in Astoria, Oregon. Inquiry and application are open for the premier self supported race across the United States. Choose your own adventure with the classic TABR finish in Yorktown, Virginia or the more modern Nonstop finish in Washington D.C.
It would be worth yet again mentioning that the route to D.C. was built from the ground up to be a more modernized way to travel across the United States using rail trails, tow paths, greenways, low traffic roads, and is one of the most logical routes you could choose to travel across the US.
Accept no imitators, Trans Am Bike Nonstop 2024 by Ride Yr Bike departs Astoria, Oregon June 2nd. We look forward to seeing everyone off for this 10th year anniversary celebration with great zeal.
Cheers and happy riding, Nathan @ Ride Yr Bike
