Where: A loop based in Bellingham Washington traversing the Cascades twice via the greater Snoqualmie National Forest with a bonus finishing tour of Whidbey Island.
Who: This route is designed for nature lovers looking to get away in Washington without getting into hike a bike territory.
Why: Cascade mountain passes, forested back roads, an excuse to traverse the edge of wilderness.
How: Fully self supported via 70% paved roads designed to be the most minor connector in each situation where possible, tracked exclusively with the Ride Yr Bike app on your own smart phone or bring your own Garmin Inreach or Spot Tracker. Expect somewhere around a 35mm smooth tread tire.
